Apparel Industry
We are perhaps the only shipping and Logistics Company that treats apparel like "perishable cargo." We are committed to maximizing speed to market for our many customers sourcing product in East Africa. Liner shipping services are fast by standard, with frequent schedules, and our logistics service partners in the U.S. are all designed to make our customers' supply chains more efficient, cost effective and transparent.
Consumer ServicesConsumers trust us to handle the transport of their personal vehicles, household goods and purchased goods (such as appliances, building materials; and that make up a Less-Than-Container-Load [LCL] shipment) between the international origins and the East and Central African destinations. In most of the hinterland, we provide a lifeline to some of world's most isolated communities, managing transport of gasoline, cooking gas, LPG and other fuels, including packaged petroleum products like motor oil and other automotive fluids.
Fishing (Commercial)We serve the fishing industry in multiple capacities, including offshore crew changes and water supply from water barges and or fuelling by during the fishing season and in-port fuelling services for fishing boats.
We arrange for in-shore "catch" trans-shipment into reefer containers for export to European destinations. Immigration services and equipment or spares delivery for facilitation of on-board or drayage repairs.
Translink's Government Services team is directed by professionals who have good training and experience in disembarking arms and ammunition especially due to the Somali pirates security escalation in the region.
Combining the technical and professional capabilities of our partners, we bring together best in class operations, engineering and contracting personnel. We provide the following services and more to our government clients.
